KPIs and Baseline Values on Balanced Scorecard...
The minimum level of expectations, or baseline, is
precisely quantified and entered on the scorecard. This is important
because it clearly defines the growth, profit, quality and productivity
standards to all employees.
Performance in excess of baseline leads to improvement
in profitability and subsequently increases the reward pool. This direct
relationship between financial performance and the size of the reward
pool educates employees how the organization makes money.
