Mike Higgins, Jr. is the son of the founder of Mike Higgins and Associates. Prior to joining MHA in 1997, Mike spent five years with the Deloitte & Touch Consulting Group. During his tenure in the national consulting practice, Mike focused on operations, business process improvement and information technology strategy and implementation. Mike’s high profile clients included Principal Financial Group, Hughes Aircraft, Monsanto, Pratt & Lambert Paints and AMC Theatres. Mike is the partner responsible for managing MHA’s PERFORMANCE COMPENSATION FOR STAKEHOLDERS^TMmethodology. Mike has personally facilitated over 200 STAKEHOLDERS implementations in the financial services industry with clients ranging in asset size from $50 million to over $8.0 billion. Mike is also responsible for product development. His strong information technology background has helped in the design and deployment of Performance Compensation, Asset/Liability Management, Budgeting and Reporting applications. Mike attended Nebraska Wesleyan University where he was an honors graduate in finance. He also attended the Graduate School of Business in Oslo, Norway, and then received his MBA at the University of Kansas. During his college years, Mike played golf at Nebraska Wesleyan where he was a twoyear All-American and a two-year Academic All-American. He was an assistant golf pro until 1991, when he began his graduate study in Europe. In 2000, he was the first golfer to be inducted into the University's Athletic Hall of Fame. Mike brings a great deal of experience in working toward and managing high performance as well as creating an environment where employees think like owners. Mike, his wife Christy, and their two daughters live in Kansas City, MO.
